تستعد شركة أبل لإجراء تغيير كبير في تطبيق Apple Maps، مع تقارير تشير إلى نيتها دمج الإعلانات داخل التطبيق خلال الفترة المقبلة، ما قد يثير جدلاً واسعاً بين المستخدمين.

وحسب وكالة بلومبرغ، تخطط الشركة لإطلاق هذه المبادرة لاحقاً هذا العام، على أن يتم الإعلان الرسمي عنها قريباً، ربما خلال الشهر الحالي، فيما قد تبدأ الإعلانات بالظهور فعلياً مع حلول الصيف.
