استقبل رئيس لجنة الشؤون الخارجية النائب الدكتور فادي علامة، قبل ظهر اليوم في مجلس النواب، نائب المنسق الخاص للأمم المتحدة في لبنان والمنسق المقيم للشؤون الإنسانية السيد عمران ريزا.

وخلال اللقاء، عرض ريزا أمام علامة مجمل الجهود الإنسانية التي تبذلها الأمم المتحدة في لبنان، لا سيما في ما يتعلق بدعم النازحين وتقديم المساعدات لهم على مختلف الصعد، في ظل الظروف الصعبة التي تمر بها البلاد.

كما تطرق البحث إلى البرامج الخاصة التي تنفذها الأمم المتحدة، والهادفة إلى تحقيق الاستدامة المطلوبة، بما يساهم في التخفيف من تداعيات الأزمة الراهنة وتعزيز القدرة على الصمود في مختلف القطاعات الحيوية.
